Great views with good food and service at fair price. We got there right when they opened and got a good seat.
I'm gluten free and was able to have the Caesar salad (they were able to add chicken for an extra charge). They had a few other GF options as well. Little pricey, but what isn't on the island? Our waiter was busy, but very friendly and quick!
The view is great. You can see the whole bay from the restaurant, which is especially great on the 4th of July. However, the food’s pretty disappointing and overpriced. It seemed very cheaply and hastily prepared which was surprisingly considering that it’s run by the Grand Hotel.
Fair includes light sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. I got the tuna salad croissant which was amazing and my husband loved his roast beef sandwich. Would highly recommend to any visitor to the Island!
Food was delicious but we received poor service. Waiter never came back to refill our drinks and we waited at least 20 minutes for the bill. Now, we were in vacation so we weren't in a hurry anyway, but it still seemed a little too long. Maybe our experience will be isolated since it is the beginning of the season. You can't beat the view though and overall this is a good spot for lunch.
After exploring the Fort Mackinac area for most of the day, this was the perfect stop for a light lunch. The view is just breath-taking of the island and the harbor, probably one of the coolest spots on Mackinac Island. The staff here is incredibly professional and courteous, they definitely went out of their way to make the visit feel special.
