Quiet place. We stayed in the Summer House. Room was very clean. Summer house is convenient location for pool. Pool area was clean. The food was excellent, the chef during our stay was Joseph Johnson & his menu selections are delicious. Staff is all very young college kids 19 to 21, maybe, who don't seem to know answers to any questions. They are nice & smile a lot but don't have a clue. We never saw a manager of any kind or anyone with any significant experience. Don't try to make it to dinner in the dinning room, the waitresses are flighty & get overwhelmed easily, it's not worth the bother. We went into the bar area & ate there, our service seemed better than in the dinning room, same menu however don't try to order a complex bar beverage as the 21 year old ( hope she was 21) didn't know how to make anything that was not on the drink menu. They are also stingy with the booze. We picked up bottles of our own favorites on the main land & brought it to our room instead. The location of Stonecliff is off the beaten path away from all the touristy stuff, so if quiet is what you want & a great view of the bridge stay here. If you want to be in the thick of the excitement it's too far away you have to walk, ride a bike or pay for a taxi to get to the nightlife. They offer a box lunch for guests, it was a nice little lunch, we packed it on bikes & spent the day biking the quieter areas of the island & then had a random picnic, their box lunch made that nice day possible. We liked the quiet location, we liked the view & our room, but dealing with the young flighty staff & the confusion that surrounded them was not relaxing.

Awesome Experience we could see the Mackinaw Bridge from our room. Our favorite place on the Island. Awesome sunsets.
