Beautiful lodging. The only thing missing is a desk, but I am on vacation and probably shouldn't be worried about that. The bathroom is larger than some other rooms I've been in!
The Bicycle Inn is now my favorite hotel on Mackinac Island. The location is just off of Sheplers dock, the rooms are fresh and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
It was a great experience. The staff was amazing and friendly and very honest about the menu and encouraging. My dad had the cheeseburger flat bread and loved every bite. I enjoyed the California wrap which was like a West coast blt. Great place, highly recommended
If staying on the third floor, be aware that it takes the hot water a bit of time to make it up here for the shower, but once it warms up, it's fine.
The staff is helpful without being overly intrusive, even near the end of the season, when I imagine they are ready for an island not overrun with "fudgies". Loved this hotel!
Out of all the hotels I've seen, this is by far the best! The rooms at Bicycle Street Inn are very comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. There's a mini fridge, a microwave, and an impressive air conditioner. The staff are friendly too! They even offer discounts to a variety of fudge shops and restaurants. It's in the middle of all the shop, and I'm very happy here. :)
From the moment you walk in (from right off the sheplers ferry stop) you are greeted by the most amazing aromas and beautiful lobby set up. The staff is helpful and nice, the rooms are well furnished and a good size. The one downfall is that the back of the hotel is by a riding stall, so make sure you pay a bit extra to stay in front (or don’t expect to open the patio door). As an extra - they provide storage for bikes and laundry facilities (so you can dry your stuff after a down pour!) one suggestion - skip the continental breakfast at Winchester’s.
