An AMAZING TIME. On beautiful historic Mackinaw Island. Beautiful old hotel with amenities and staff you won't find anywhere else. The rooms are all different and charmingly decorated, staff is spot on! You want for NOTHING. Save your money for this one of a kind experience. There is no tipping allowed. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
The Grand Hotel is absolutely amazing! Our room was beautiful. The majority of the waitstaff were very courteous and efficient. The grounds are breath taking. The food selection is out of this world! I hope to visit this fine hotel again in the future.
Great getaway! Beautiful views great friendly service and great food. The Grand Hotel is a must have experience. Be sure to ask for a good view otherwise you could be facing a wall or the back of the hotel and it's not a view of anything.
Nice walk to the hotel from Market and Main Street. We decided to do the luncheon buffet which was priced quite high but we were forewarned. The view from the restaurant was beautiful however but I probably wouldn't do it again. Entering the hotel grounds as a non guest requires a $10 per person payment, so beware. Can't judge on rooms or stay as I stayed on market street but the grounds are well maintained. My visit was during the last week of October so I cannot be too critical of the service because it was evident that everyone on the island was ready for the season to be over.
Had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel.. on the most beautiful island!! Loved the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere, especially late night at the proch! Very kind staff(No tipping!)! Loved the evening gathering. The breakfast was lovely, lot of options! The room was beautifully decorated. Overall a great hotel with a lot of history! You will love it! A must do!!
