While this place is smaller then the wings of Mackinac place it seemed to have way more butterflies and a larger variety. You can’t hold them, but if you hold still they will land on you! The ‘insect’ part of the museum isn’t as special, but you can come back multiple times if you are willing to wear the wristband.
Great little shop to purchase butterfly and insect related items. They have a nice kids selection as well. I can usually find a Christmas present to give lurking somewhere on their tables.
Don't let the size fool you. This place is packed with great stuff.
